WILEY

Wiley came to us when we were told that there was a blind puppy that needed rescue. Someone’s dog had gotten out and pregnant and had a litter of 7 puppies. Wiley was born 2 full days after his siblings and was extremely delayed in his growth and milestones. Wiley’s siblings started attacking him and he needed to find rescue ASAP. We reached out to our trusted vet who believed that Wiley might have a mild case of cerebellar hypoplasia and felt confident he would be ok. We took Wiley in the next day. He was a little wobbly on his feet but it was clear that he was able to see and did not have any vision problems. Within a few days of being with us Wiley was already building strength and coordination. While he is slightly developmentally delayed he is a total sweetheart and learning basic commands. Wiley is working with professional behavioral trainers on his life skills and commands! He is very affectionate and is thriving in foster care with both dogs and cats. This adorable boy will be available for adoption after he heals from his neuter at the end of March.
